I am often asked if we charge a fee for research or booking travel. The simple answer is no we do not. We are paid based on what the company we are booking through pays us. Nothing more. It is our pleasure to save you the time of doing the research and allowing us to assist you with planning your next vacation. So, you have nothing to lose. Give us a call and let's see if we can find your next vacation.
In less than one-year, a real ID will be required for travel. May 2025 will be here before we know it. Check to see if you currently have a real ID. If not, make plans now to obtain one.
July 1, 2024 marked a change in the way cruise lines are showing their pricing. In the past, port taxes and fees were added to the base fare. This created confusion to some travelers. A ruling in California led to the change that requires cruises lines to display all fares. Now, when you book a cruise, you should be seeing the cruise price which includes port taxes and fees.
I am often asked whether or not a passport is required when cruising to the Bahamas from the U.S. when departing from and returning to the same port. Technically, the answer is no a passport is not required. A valid birth certificate will do. However, in the unlikely event you have an illness, miss the ship, or another reason that causes you to have to fly back to the U.S., a passport is required to reenter the U.S. by air. Therefore, I strongly encourage all travelers to not only have a valid passport, but ensure it is valid for six months from the return date of your trip.
